Goodie Bag For Bachelorette Party

The roof

On Monday it was finally over. The roof was supplied and the rooms have been razed to the superstructure.

In our house a rafter roof is installed. The wooden roof rafter or called collar beam roof is made of several pieces made in a row in first direction staggered pairs rafters. These pairs of rafters together with a structure at the base of the rafters a triangular frame. The distance of each frame can be 70-90 cm lie.

The wooden rafters and collar beam roof rafters are on two interconnected ridge point, for example by a shear pin, a rabbet, or by both sides mounted plates. To facilitate the assembly of the rafters in the roof is often a straight edge fitted such as straightedge. This connects the rafter pairs in the longitudinal direction. For the actual longitudinal bracing of the roof but wooden Windrispen, Windrispenbänder of metal, or by bracing formwork is required.

was the horizontal connection on the rafter shoe in traditional structures made of wooden beams. We used the basement ceiling reinforced concrete as the lower part of the triangular frame.

The collar beam roof is a special form of the roof rafters, which was built here, too. Because it allows larger spans, or building depths are achieved than is possible with the simple rafter roof. The individual rafter pairs are each connected by a horizontal collar beams. This design can reduce the bending of the rafters under load.

A role played by the collar beam roof in the attic also. Here is the entirety of the collar beam, the collar beam position as the upper end of the attic. Whose height determines the extent the height of the collar beams, often in the upper half of the roof structure.

On the same evening there was a small drink. Sorry I could not carpenters to stay and to convince announced an indicative sentence. Sure, the work is done, wanted to start my journey home.
